Best football film I've ever seen!!! (by djames-31)
This is easily the best football film that I've ever seen. Its pretty much non-stop, never gets boring and is really well written and filmed. The acting's really great too, much better than I expected! Especially Liam and Charlie's characters, they made it feel like proper football matches, like your right there on the pitch with Rooney, Gerrard and Beckham! Made me and my mate want to get out and have a kick about strait away! Its definitely a good one to watch with a few mates on a night in with a couple of pizzas too. Proper good action and really involving. There's some <more>
well fit girls in it as well!!! Honestly, what more could you want?!
the most people watching such films are football fans.. what a surprise; and i can understand, why this movie polarizes this much..i loved the first one.. the story of a young Mexican boy living the dream of playing professional football in europe. it had action, heart and foremost, of corse, football. it was a great mix of a lifestory and the big theatre of football dreams mixed with a sweet love story. IMDb users gave it a straight 7 and i agreed.the second one was a sequel, that did't screw up like they usually do. it was the next logical step. playing for the biggest team in the <more>
world. football, party and a rather nice love story. it was OK. but not as good as the original. it was the propagated live of a pro. sex, parties and money. a 7 on IMDb.. i'm not that sure this time; now i looked up at IMDb for the rating of the third one. and i'm usually not disappointed. but this time, i was shocked after i watched the movie. usually a 4 means that this is a stupid high school sh.t-flick with a blondie in starring and the hottest boy in class with a screwed up life!! and i'm glad, this time i gave it a shot, anyhow. this time football is not everything. you'll have your games at the world cup in Germany, but the main story is apart of all this. it's about feelings, heart, love and friendship up to the bitter end. i caught myself crying in some scenes. and i'm not the typical movie crier. it was a touching movie. a one that delivers a bigger message than scoring the next goal. and i think that is why the most voters here that gave it a 1 are boys up to 18yo. but the average within the women about 30 is a 8.3. near the IMDb top 250, don't you think? no i'm not a gay man! don't misunderstand me. i love football. i'm crazy about it. i watched the movie because it is goal #3 and i will watch it again because it was a great movie.
I think best of the football player Nunez in the film and Lian Adams who is handsome and ambitious but Lian used to drinking vodka so his performance was little...Film is very great but some part is mixed....A lot people like this film.....Film'S actor is good at role playing.... A lot of people want to like it so I think director make a movie......This film is well because it is exciting....That film'S end is well than other film'S end...I think some film's part is worse but film is fluent.... Film's actor isn't experienced but they are good at role playing
Not bad...but it doesn't deserve worst soccer/football movie ever.. (by jetstreammatt)
This is one goes out to the supposed American "IAjhawk"..... Any soccer loving person would disagree..... If you thought the movie sucked that bad...why don't you shell out the cash and make one better...if you can't afford it then keep your mouth shut...Get it through your head..football in America is played with pigskins and football in Europe as we know it soccer is playing with soccer balls...Any Company willing to shell out money to show the influence of a story like this is worth supporting....No one told you had to watch it..
